ART+COM Monograph

After more than two decades of digital communication the detailed review takes place beyond the screen: “ART+COM – Media Spaces and Installations“ explores the history and future of new media from an ART+COM perspective on the basis of key projects from the 23 year history.

The 250-pages hardback monograph was published by Gestalten Verlag. It’s authors Joachim Sauter, Dr. Susanne Jaschko and Jussi Ängeslevä present selected works that were created at the intersection of design, art and technology. These projects highlight the milestones in the journey, which provided influential design impulses to the field of communication with new media. Additionally to comprehensive photo spreads, texts contextualize the projects in the time of origin, give insight into the conceptual and technical approach and characterize the interdisciplinary working methods of the ART+COM-team.

“ART+COM – Media Spaces and Installations“ is released in both German and English and can be ordered via Amazon or directly at Gestalten.
